Desislava Dimitrova

Desislava is one of the founders of Innovires Legal. Her main fields of practice are unsettled maritime disputes, maritime arrest, commercial disputes arising under shipping contracts, charterparties and bills of lading  as well as shipbuilding contracts.

Desislava advises on a broad range of commercial, corporate  and company  law issues, with a focus on the establishment, dissolution and liquidation of companies, corporate governance issues and directors’ and shareholders’ rights and duties.

She also advises on company restructurings, transfers of business and spin-offs  and opines on company, administrative  and civil law matters  in the context of changes in corporate structures, including dissolutions, liquidations and mergers and acquisitions. She has acted in numerous cross-border acquisitions, representing major market players in the region and has led due diligence reviews in the context of privatizations, initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions
